Are Freepik contents for free and where can I use them?

Freepik's contents are totally for free. If you download Freepik's resources you must include the attribution line "Designed by Freepik" somewhere on the printed material, next to the pictures or placed in your website, depending on the usage of our resources.

Our contents may be used freely by inserting the attribution:

  • In personal and commercial projects.
  • In websites, presentations, printable elements and so on that will not be used in a commercial way.
  • Totally or partially, using the full design or modifying it as well as integrated in your own designs.

The only thing you can't do in any case is make business or deliver the original (or modified) AI/PSD/EPS file to anyone.

Please remember that the copyright of Freepik's resources remains to it's author (Freepik), so you will not be able to register any image that includes any of our images.

We remind you that Freepik's resources must be part of a bigger composition in your designs. You are not allowed to use any of Freepik's images as the only or main theme of any of your personal or commercial designs.

The User may use the Freepik Content provided that it: (i) does not involve collective use, (ii) the Freepik Content is not used in a manner that suggests an association or endorsement by Freepik, (iii) the Freepik Content is not used or included in a database or archive in such a way that could prevent or limit future visits or downloads from the Website (iv) does not resell, assign, transfer or sublicense the Freepik Content or any derived work from a Freepik Content, (v) does not use the Freepik Content in printed or electronic items aimed to be resold, in which the Freepik Content is the main element (e.g. t-shirts, cups, postcards, mouse pads, calendars, web models or electronic devices), (vi) does not use the Freepik Content (totally or partially) in any trademark, logo or part of the same, of which may be used by any other mean to guarantee or to imply a guaranty of any product and/or service; and (vii) does not use the Freepik Content in connection with porn, defamatory or any other illicit or immoral contents.

Hello I want to use an image commercially in Facebook & Instagram post. Is it ok if I put (e.g. Designed by Starline - at the bottom of the picture?

I would be waiting for your response

    Hello Indweds,

You must insert the text *Designed by Starline - Freepik* on the pictures you upload to your social network and the link on the description/post of the uploaded picture. This way you will be giving the credits to the author of the image correctly to use our resources on your social networks.

Best regards and thank you, we wish you have a wonderful day.

    Freepik's Team.

Hi. I would have liked to use a freepik picture in a hoodie for me and all my class (I'm in high school, if this can be any helpful to you) and I wondered if I could, if I had to credit freepik, and how, etc. Know that the hoodie will only be printed for my class, which means in a limited number. I also edited the picture a bit, if you wonder. Thank you in advance for answering!

Je suis webmaster, puis je vendre les cartes de visites modifiées par moi-même(couleurs, texte) à mes clients si je prends un abonnement sans mettre l'attribution Freepik dessus?
