What is a Vector?

A Vector image is a graphical file format based on mathematical expressions and is composed of points, lines, and shapes.

Points are called nodes and can be added, deleted, moved, and have handles that affect the shape and quality or the path between each point within the line or shape.

Also, a vector file allows changing a shape or line's attributes as fill color, stroke color and stroke width.
