Vector-Based Programs

Adobe IllustratorAdobe Illustrator - For a fee

Is the most used program and most versatile on the market. Some of the tools allowing users to create icons, seamless patterns, work with gradients and gradient meshes.

Corel DrawCorel DRAW - For a fee

Is another commonly used program, though not as popular as Illustrator. It's most often used in industrial design and with CNC machines.

InkscapeInkscape - Free

It’s free, allowing users new to the medium to experiment and get acquainted with the vector format. Additionally, it's often used in industrial settings with CNC machines and laser cutters.

SketchSketch - For a fee

It is an exclusive program for MAC. It is mostly used to create Icon artboard templates.

AffinityAffinity - For a fee

It is very similar to Adobe Illustrator and have a nice selection of tools but not as extensive as in Illustrator. This program has an improvement, and is that we can use a zoom of 1,000,000%.
